Our scope on this scheme included the Groundworks, RC Frame and all hard landscaping works. This project will provide 100 per cent socially rented family homes for local people, comprising of 15 two-bed and 10 three-bed homes, while also providing three wheelchair-adapted homes. A large communal garden with bicycle storage will be part of the development, fostering a sense of community along with placing emphasis on healthy environmentally-friendly living. A brand-new community centre is part of the complex and will give residents a flexible space for a variety of activities, which will be managed by the council’s community service. There will be capacity to host up to 300 guests for a variety of social gatherings like weddings and parties while the facility can also be converted into smaller meeting rooms if required.
