Packington Estate Phase 4

We are currently working on Phase 4 of the Packington Estate redevelopment working on behalf of Rydon Construction Ltd. This project is being split in to 7 phases with a project value in excess of £100 million and a contract period of over 9 years. The project involves the redevelopment of a late 1960’s Local Authority Estate to provide a network of new and restored squares with a park running the full length of the site alongside the Regents Canal. The focus of the new neighbourhood will be the creation of two new connected squares laid out along the main axis of the estate, which will in turn open up onto a new canal side walk. The opening up of the canal as a resource for leisure in an area which has very little public space is a major feature of the scheme. After completing all three previous phases we were then asked to come back and carry out the same again on the fourth phase. Our package consisted of a Bulk Excavation, Groundworks, Reinforced Concrete Frame, Drainage, Services and External works.
